The life of an artist is not as magical as it is usually perceived, and the expression "starving artist" has some truth to it...The Wild West painting is a parallel life of my own struggles and fights for survival. The road to success is hard work and dedication, and for 6 long years I was being robbed in daylight, while trying to run away from thieves and protecting my life's work and integrity. Blend and Color

Working on a free flowing style, with bold, colorful, large brushstrokes is a nice break from the long process of realistic paintings.  I want the Color Expression paintings to be fresh and fluid, almost like a scene in motion. It’s a known fact that our senses are influenced by the effects of colors that surround us, and colors can dramatically change our moods and emotions. For my Color Expression paintings the subject is portrayed through aggressive brushstrokes that intertwine together as one, with no clear edges, in order to create an enjoyable experience of happiness and bring forth positive emotions.
