Eivor Varinsdottir is a Viking shield-maiden and tribe leader from Norway who raided what would later become England.  After a wolf attack left her with a scar on her face, she gained the title Wolf-Kissed.  She is the reincarnation of Odin, the chief of the Norse gods and extremely skilled in hand-to-hand combat.  In this original oil on canvas painting, Blend has painted Eivor's feisty and colorful personality, and the untamed powerful swing of her axe, with her almost jumping out of the canvas to do what she knows best.
